The attached code produces all figures and tables for "Consumption Dynamics During Recessions" by David Berger and Joseph Vavra.

The basic data analysis requires Stata (code tested using State/SE 13.1 for Windows).
The estimation and solution of the model requires fortran 90.   (Code written and tested using Intel Visual Fortran)
Visualization, figure plotting and some additional data work requires matlab (Code tested using R2011b).

We have included the code that produces all intermediate and final outputs for the published version of the paper.
In addition subject to size constraints, we have included most of the intermediate outputs so that final figures
and simulations can be run without running the intermediate estimation code.
